realparents1 Postpartum depression is much more than the “Baby Blues”. Baby blues usually last only 1 to 2 weeks and is brought on by the massive hormonal changes that a woman experiences after giving birth.

Postpartum depression is more severe and can have dire consequences. Postpartum depression is not “all in your head” and not something for you to “just get over”. If you are experiencing symptoms of postpartum depression there is help.
